About Nona
Nona is a new search engine from Cologne with the aim of creating a future-oriented search alternative for consumers based on trust and transparency. At Nona, we don't want to make money from personal data – our focus is always on providing the best answer to a user's search query, not on selling advertising or tracking online behavior. Nona therefore offers an alternative to search engines and search results pages that are full of personalized advertising. Instead, Nona only displays anonymized advertising that does not require tracking cookies to be stored. All users only receive advertisements that are relevant to the search terms they have entered. In addition to the basic version of Nona with generic advertising, users also have the option of using our subscription-based model for €2 per month and searching completely ad-free (yeah!).
