About OneSpace Security
OneSpace is a Dutch-built secure file-sharing platform that solves a problem every cloud tool quietly creates: the moment you upload a file to Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive or OneDrive, you hand a copy to a third party, store it on infrastructure you don't control, and expose it to breaches, legislative back-door access, and AI systems scanning or training on your data. For sensitive documents, such as contracts, medical records, crew and transport papers, financial reports, that trade-off is unacceptable. OneSpace removes the middleman entirely. Using its proprietary ClearSkyâ„¢ technology, OneSpace transfers files directly between devices over encrypted peer-to-peer connections, with no cloud storage and no relay servers. Encryption happens in real time on the sending and receiving device using AES-256, Argon2 hashing, and public/private key protection, which means OneSpace itself never has access to file contents. When you need to send to someone who isn't a OneSpace user, an optional file broker performs a temporary encrypted upload that is instantly deleted on download, so even that path avoids long-term exposure. The result is genuine data sovereignty: your files stay on your own devices, under your control, synchronised peer-to-peer across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. The ideal customer is any privacy-minded individual or organisation that exchanges sensitive files and carries a compliance or security burden. On the business side, that means supply-chain-interdependent companies in regulated sectors, for instance maritime (crew documentation, international transport documents, port-call administration), legal, healthcare, cybersecurity, and defense-adjacent industries, where secure exchange and data ownership are operationally critical and increasingly mandated by NIS2 and the EU Data Act. What sets OneSpace apart from non-European alternatives is structural, not cosmetic. Tools like Dropbox and Google Drive are US-controlled and store your files on their servers by design; WhatsApp and Signal aren't built for arbitrary file workflows; WeTransfer offers no real encryption or data control. OneSpace combines AES-256 encryption, true peer-to-peer transfer, multi-platform availability, device synchronisation, and full data sovereignty in one product and does so as a fully Dutch company (OneSpace Security B.V.) with no US parent and no commercial dependency on any foreign infrastructure. Built to GDPR standards and assessed through the SYNAPSE program and NATO DIANA, it's a European-owned answer to a category currently dominated by US cloud platforms.
