About orkestr

orkestr is an EU-hosted platform for shipping apps, running untrusted code, and putting autonomous agents to work, all from a single git push. The problem we solve Modern teams are stitching together a US-based PaaS for deploys, a separate sandbox provider for agent code execution, and a pile of glue code to make agents act on infrastructure. That means three vendors, three billing relationships, and in most cases a US sub-processor sitting somewhere in the data path. For anyone operating under GDPR, that last part is a real compliance headache, not a hypothetical one. orkestr collapses deploys, code execution, and agent orchestration into one platform that runs entirely in the EU. Who it's for Agencies, developers, engineers, product teams, and B2B companies building on EU infrastructure, especially those who answer to a compliance or procurement function and can't hand-wave data residency. What it does (the three pillars) Deploy. Connect a repo, we detect the framework across 40+ stacks, build a hardened image, and ship it to a live URL in seconds. Managed Postgres and Redis, serverless functions, custom domains with auto-SSL, PR previews, and one-click rollback. Bring your own Dockerfile or let us generate one. Execute. Hardware-isolated Linux microVMs for running untrusted or agent-generated code. Millisecond starts, pause and resume between turns, snapshot and restore the whole VM, metered by the second. Drive it via API, SDK, or MCP. Delegate. Background agents that run in the cloud, not on your laptop, under a scoped and audited identity. They react to events like failed deploys or new pull requests, pause at the gate for anything irreversible, and report back to Slack, Discord, or Linear. Everything is wired together. Databases, crons, functions, workers, monitoring, and sandboxes all snap onto the same project with no separate dashboards or glue code. Deployment and data residency Apps, sandboxes, and workers all run on dedicated EU infrastructure in Nuremberg and Falkenstein (Germany) and Helsinki (Finland). Data stays in the EU. Even our analytics are self-hosted in the EU with no cookies and no third-party tracking. We're GDPR-compliant by default with an Article 28 DPA available, and our full subprocessor chain is published for review. How we compare to non-European alternatives Railway, Render, Fly.io, and the various US sandbox providers (E2B, Daytona, Modal) are faster to reach for, but they put a US-owned company in your data path, which means Cloud Act exposure and a harder compliance story. The other route is self-hosting Firecracker on bare metal, which buys you sovereignty and a permanent ops burden. orkestr is the managed middle: the convenience of a US PaaS, the data residency of a self-hosted stack, in one platform. We're not trying to out-certify the established EU players on ISO or HDS. The wedge is one EU-native platform that does deploys, sandboxes, and agents together, instead of three tools none of which keep your data in Europe.
