European Tech Map follows a rigorous evaluation methodology to ensure every listed company meets our quality standards for digital sovereignty, EU data residency, and service reliability.

Evaluation Criteria

• European headquarters — Company must be headquartered in Europe
• EU data protection — Must be built with GDPR in mind and demonstrate EU data protection practices
• EU data residency — Must offer data hosting within the European Union
• Active product — Must have a live, publicly available product or service
• Legitimate business — Must be an established company with verifiable information

Verification Process

Each company listing is reviewed for accuracy. Verified and featured companies undergo additional checks including website verification, data residency confirmation, and certification validation.
